Summer lemonade stand
Remember summers when you were a kid? I bet you either had a lemonade stand or had a friend who had one. Now that you’re an adult, you will probably see those old traditions reincarnated in your children. To read all about lemonade stands, check out Wikipedia.
When the day comes—and it will come—when your child wants to start a lemonade stand of their own, there are obviously a few key ingredients to get the lemonade stand up and running. You will need lemons, ice, cups, sugar and an inkjet printer.
Why do you need an inkjet printer? Well if you have an inkjet printer you have everything you need to make your child’s lemonade a booming business.
Before you even make the lemonade, get the word out that your kid is opening the stand. Do this by making flyers with your inkjet printer. On the flyer, you should tell everyone exactly when the stand will open and for how long. You also may want to include how much the lemonade will cost.
If your son or daughter is saving up for something special you could add that to the flyer too, like “Come to Tommy’s lemonade stand—and help him buy a new bike!” If friends and family know that there’s a goal in place, they may be more likely to come and show support.
If you think the fun ends here, though, you are wrong. While giving out the flyers to friends and family will probably be a good idea, you should consider hanging the flyers up around the neighborhood too. You may get some unexpected business that way. Maybe even make signs leading to your house with arrows that say, “Lemonade this way”.
One you have the word out, make a sign for your table and just start waiting.
