Brother PocketJet 6 Plus

Have you ever wished that you could put your printer in your pocket and take it with you? While there are very compact, portable printers by Canon and HP that you can easily throw in a tote bag or suitcase, there are also a few out there that you can actually carry in your pocket. To check out one of the newest, most impressive of these pocket printers, check out Brother PocketJet 6 Plus. This PocketJet 6 Plus comes in two different forms—one includes Bluetooth and one doesn’t.

This particular model offers speeds of up to 6 pages per minute. While for a normal inkjet or laser printer those speeds seem insignificant, for a model this tiny those speeds are actual quite impressive. The PockJet offers direct thermal printing, as opposed to any other form, and density of text is adjustable. Resolutions of up to 300×300 dpi are as good as this machine gets, but most aren’t going to need a higher resolution than that for standard prints.

The size of this little unit is by far its most impressive characteristic. It is very petite measuring at only 10.04×2.17×1.18 inches all the way around. It also weighs only 1.1 pounds, meaning that anyone can lift it, throw it in their pocket and forget about it.
Windows, Mac and BlackBerrry operating systems will work perfectly in conjunction with the PocketJet, and letter, legal, roll paper, and A4 sizes of paper are compatible with the PocketJet.

Users will find that Brothers mobile printers are very expensive, but they are in a class of their own and are unlike any other machines out there. There are very few occasions or professions where this would be the only option, but for those who have used it or who have owned it, this little guy is a lifesaver!
